Arrival in Lima, Welcome and assistance in your transfer to the hotel. An exclusive and intense tour of the Historic Center of Lima will take us to know and admire the architectural relics that are part of this ancient Lima, which has been recognized by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The Convent of Santo Domingo is the beginning of this magnificent experience. Built during the founding of Lima. The Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest in America, was founded on this site. Inside, the choir with the oldest stalls in the country; and the library, with 25,000 books, some printed in the 15th century, have invaluable historical value. The remains of San Martín de Porres, San Juan Masías and Santa Rosa de Lima lie inside. Crossing the Plaza Mayor, the Government and Municipal Palace, we will enter the Cathedral, a jewel of Lima's history, with works of art that will bring us closer to colonial Lima. We will leave the Center and go to the Larco Museum, a place where we will have a clear vision of the Cultures that populated Ancient Peru. We will be surprised by the pieces of gold, textiles and erotic ceramics that are part of the collection that will introduce us to the worldview of the ancient Peruvian. The warehouse of this Museum will be open during our visit to appreciate the expressions of art that they captured in their ceramics. Accommodation.

DAY 03: LIMA – CUSCO CAPITAL OF THE EMPIRE AND SACSAYHUAMAN ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK

Transfer to the airport. Departure to Cusco. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. We will ascend to the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, and we will begin the excursion visiting the fortress of the same name, a beautiful place that radiates peace and tranquility, we will admire the enormous rocks up to 4 meters high, which were used in its construction. We will continue with Q'enqo, an ancient temple of the Puma where you can see an altar for sacrifices in the inner part of a huge rock and then with Tambomachay, sacred sources of life and health. Along the way, we will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucará, a watchtower that guarded the entrance to the city. Afterwards, we will go to the Qorikancha Temple of the Sun, on which the Convent of Santo Domingo was built. Legend has it that this temple was completely covered in gold sheets, which amazed the conquerors upon their arrival. To finish, we will visit the Plaza de Armas and enter the Cathedral, which houses invaluable colonial works and paintings, such as the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors. DAY 04: INCA VILLAGE OF CHINCHERO, TERRACES OF MORAY AND INCA VILLAGE OLLANTAYTAMBO

This day we will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will leave for the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque in the Sacred Valley. This town is famous for its women weavers. Brief stop at a textile center to appreciate the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning Alpaca wool. We will visit the Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial Church. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful Inca archaeological site composed of concentric agricultural terraces that served as a laboratory to recreate microclimates. Lunch. We will continue to visit the last living town of the Incas, Ollantaytambo. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Ñusta baths, and the Temple of the Sun. Postcards from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accommodation in the area.

DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU, LOST CITADEL

The long-awaited day to discover one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Boarding at the Ollantaytambo station. Departure by selected train. Arrival at Machu Picchu station. Assistance from our staff to board the bus that will ascend a winding road, with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and shaping a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. Energy emanates from all over the place. Lunch. TRIP NOTES

• Take note that The Cathedral of Lima is open from Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. During times when the Cathedral is not open, we will visit Barranco (The same for festive dates, national holidays, Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings).

• Taking flash photos in the Cathedral is prohibited. 

• You cannot enter religious venues in shorts.

CUSCO NOTES:

• The Lima/Cusco flight should be considered early in the morning (arrive in Cusco no later than 11:30am) so that passengers can rest and acclimatize before starting the excursion in the afternoon (1:30pm).

• The excursion to Machu Picchu has been quoted on the EXPEDITION train service with lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included).

• Entry tickets to Machu Picchu are limited and are subject to availability until receiving the issuance order and complete information (full name, passport number or ID card (It must be the same document with which you will travel), date of birth and nationality.

• Once purchased and issued:

• Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and do not accept changes.
