HOLY WEEK IN GUATEMALA

Arrive at Tocumen International Airport three hours in advance to board a Copa Airlines flight to Guatemala.

Breakfast. Departure at 8:00 a.m. for Antigua Guatemala for a visit to one of the most important cities in the colonial period in the Americas. Upon arrival, visit the Church of La Merced, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, and enjoy free time for shopping. At the scheduled time, transfer to the Jade Museum. We will see the carpet making and procession in Antigua. Free time for lunch and to enjoy the Colonial City. At 3:00 p.m., transfer to Guatemala City. Return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Las Américas.

Breakfast. Departure at 6:30 a.m. to the Guatemalan Highlands, specifically to the indigenous village of Panajachel. Upon arrival, we will board a boat to the village of San Juan La Laguna. Upon arrival, we will hike and visit the Catholic Church. We will then head to the chocolate factory to see how chocolate is made, then continue to the Textile Factory, where we will be shown how the dyes for these beautiful textiles are made. We will also visit artisans who work with medicinal plants. At a convenient time, we will return to Panajachel (free time for lunch). In the afternoon, we will transfer to Guatemala City. Overnight at Hotel Las Américas.

Important: It takes approximately 3:30 a.m. to reach Panajachel; however, arrival time at each destination depends on traffic conditions and any road disruptions.

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight home!
