Breakfast and a brief panoramic tour of Madrid, one of the liveliest cities in Europe, where we'll visit the most important sites such as Plaza España, Gran Vía, the Cibeles Fountain, the Puerta de Alcalá, and more. Afterward, we'll continue through the modern district, ending in the Madrid of the Habsburgs. Delights such as the Plaza Mayor and Plaza de Oriente will provide a splendid conclusion to this tour of the Spanish capital. Overnight stay.

DAY 03 MADRID – BURGOS – BORDEAUX

Breakfast. Early morning departure. We will travel northward through the Basque Country. Along the way, we will take a brief panoramic tour of the city of Burgos, a city that highlights its intact medieval architecture. We will visit one of its twelve medieval gates, the famous Arch of Santa María, which features a relief of the legendary Cid Campeador. We will also admire the Cathedral of Santa María, the first in the Iberian Peninsula to be built in the French Gothic style, whose main doors are flanked by ornate bell towers. We will continue toward the French border, crossing through France's wine-producing region to Bordeaux, the capital of what is known as New Aquitaine. This important port city on the Garonne River boasts its Place de la Bourse, where our brief panoramic tour will begin, appreciating the reflecting fountain (Miroir d'eau), considered one of the largest in the world. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure for Paris, making a brief stop en route in Blois, an ancient and historic French city located in the Loire-et-Cher department. You can admire the iconic Château de Blois, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is considered one of the most important in the region. Throughout its history, it has been inhabited by seven kings and eleven queens. Blois is also appreciated for its unparalleled beauty and splendor. After free time in Blois, we will continue to Paris, the so-called "City of Light." Arrival and overnight stay.

Depart for a brief panoramic tour of the "City of Love," visiting its most iconic sites: the Champs-Élysées, the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, the National Assembly, the Opera, the Louvre Museum, Les Invalides, the Champs-de-Mars, the Eiffel Tower, and more. The tour concludes with a visit to the Perfume Museum, a unique experience that immerses your senses in the atmosphere of stills, essences, vintage photographs, and films, demonstrating the different eras of perfume making. Breakfast. We'll marvel at the city of 118 islands connected by more than 400 bridges and canals, whose characteristics make it unique and exclusive, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll visit the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square, with its incomparable setting, including the Basilica, a jewel of Byzantine architecture. Afterward, we'll continue our journey to Rome. A walking tour of this unique city where art will surprise you at every turn. We will walk through St. Mark's Square, passing the Accademia Gallery and arriving at the Straw Market. We will admire the combination of beautiful marbles on the façade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its unmistakable bell tower. We will also enjoy the Baptistery and its famous Gates of Paradise. We will look out over the famous Ponte Vecchio and continue to Piazza Santa Croce to admire the Franciscan basilica of the same name. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure for the miraculous city of Pisa. This city is always identified by its famous Leaning Tower, accompanied by the beautiful architectural complex consisting of the Cathedral and Baptistery. Located on the banks of the Arno River, Pisa is also known for its splendid medieval architecture, the Piazza dei Miracoli, the monumental Campo Santo, the Piazza del Duomo, and the picturesque bridges spanning the river. We will then continue our journey to the French city of Nice, capital of the French Riviera with its beautiful Mediterranean nature. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure for Spain. Crossing the regions of Provence, the Alps, the French Riviera, and Occitania, we will arrive in Barcelona, ​​the cosmopolitan capital of Catalonia, renowned for its art and architecture. We will take a brief panoramic tour of the city to see the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, designed by the Spanish/Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí; his work on the building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and other wonders of Barcelona.
