Breakfast. Departure for the ½ Day City Tour: Acropolis and Panoramic View of Athens. The Parthenon, a classic symbol of architecture, built entirely of white marble. The Parthenon is the largest temple erected in honour of the goddess Athena. The panoramic tour takes us through the most important parts of the city such as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament and the Panathinaikon Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held.   • Season A departures (March 23, 30, November 2, 9, 16) correspond to the winter program and do not include the island of Crete (Heraklion).
  • All travelers staying in any type of accommodation throughout Greece are required to pay the “Climate Resilience Tax.” The rates indicated above do not include this additional tax. The hotel is responsible for collecting the corresponding amount directly from guests.

  • All children pay mandatory port taxes and gratuities, payable with the cruise booking (€199).

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT TAX FOR PORTS PER PERSON AND PER GREEK PORT OF DISEMBARKATION

Following the approval of a new law (5162/2024, Article 27) by the Greek Government, a Sustainable Tourism Development Tax applies to all cruise passengers and will come into effect on July 21, 2025. This tax will be collected by the cruise line on board at check-out at the port of disembarkation and will be added to each disembarking guest's individual account. This is a mandatory tax levied by the Greek authorities and collected by the cruise line on their behalf, as required by applicable law. The new Sustainable Tourism Development Tax for Greek ports will be applied as follows (until May 31, 2026):

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Greece applies a mandatory Sustainable Tourism Development Tax for cruises, which is collected on board per passenger and per Greek port visited. The amount varies depending on the season and the port of disembarkation. This tax is not included in the program fare.
  • Celestyal Cruises reserves the right to apply fuel surcharges in the event of significant increases in international fuel prices, which will be communicated in writing in a timely manner.
  • Ships, schedules, and itineraries are subject to operational changes by the cruise line, which will be duly notified.
  • Passengers are responsible for having a valid passport and the required visas for the countries to be visited.

The tour operator cannot act as an intermediary for this payment and assumes no responsibility if the hotel does not receive the corresponding amount directly from the client.
  • A multiple-entry Schengen visa is required for certain countries.
  • All itineraries are subject to change without prior notice. The order of the places visited may vary from the original program due to circumstances beyond our control. The tour order may be changed without prior notice, always respecting all included visits.
  • In the event of unavailability at the hotels mentioned, similar hotels will be used.
  • Excursions and tours: Tours include an air-conditioned bus and a professional Spanish-speaking guide. All excursions and visits not mentioned under "includes" are not included in the packages and are optional.

  • The shipping companies operating the maritime routes between the islands reserve the right to modify their schedules and timetables, as well as change vessels, when they deem it necessary.
  • It is the client's responsibility to comply with all immigration and health requirements for entering and remaining in Greece.
  • Any medical, physical, or mental condition requiring special attention must be reported at the time of booking.
  • Gratuities are mandatory on cruises. In other services, they are voluntary.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND VISAS

It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure they have the necessary travel documents: a valid passport, EU identity card, and, when required, a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa. Failure to present the appropriate documentation may result in the total loss of the trip without refund.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

The suggested visits or tours, the price of which is described in the program, will be offered by our local operator and can be purchased from here or directly there. However, if the passenger decides to participate in any of these activities, they should not book them with a different operator, as the schedules established in the itineraries may vary. The guide has full autonomy to modify the order of the scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, always respecting the contracted services.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Initial deposit: $300.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE)
  • 120 days prior to departure: 50% payment of the total program cost
  • 90 days prior to departure: 80% payment of the total program cost
  • 60 days prior to departure: 100% payment of the total program cost
