American Breakfast. Get to know the best that Montreal has to offer on this sightseeing tour with a professional guide. Enjoy a trip back in time from French and English colonization to the present day. We begin our panoramic tour through the English district of Westmount, the Oratory of Saint Joseph, the park of Mount Royal with its spectacular view of the city, we will walk through the park to the observation deck of the Chalet de la Montana, if the weather permits, if not, we will visit the Belvedere observation deck. We continue towards the Golden Square Mile, Mc Gill University, the financial district, Canada Square, the Catholic Cathedral Mary Queen of the World. We continue towards Old Montreal passing by Queen Victoria Square and skirting the perimeter of Old Montreal and the Old Port, then towards the Place d'Armes to visit the Notre Dame Basilica (admission NOT included). We will walk to the city hall building where Jacques Cartier Square is located, the tourist heart of Old Montreal where you will have time to have lunch before continuing your trip to Ottawa. We begin our visit to Canada's capital city, visiting Parliament (in summer we will see the Changing of the Guard), residential neighborhoods, mansions of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, the residences of the ambassadors, the Supreme Court and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), departure to Brockville to enjoy a short cruise through the Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River. This region is the place where the popular Thousand Islands dressing was created, and is also one of the regions of eastern Canada preferred as a tourist destination. The cruise, which lasts approximately 1 hour, shows the spectacular panoramic views of the area and provides information about the history of the area, its legends and its people. You can also see ships from all over the world cautiously navigating the narrow sections of the St. Lawrence River, the longest freshwater canal in the world.
