Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, we'll depart by bus to Kemi, a charming town approximately 1.5 hours from Rovaniemi. Our first stop will be SnowExperience365, a fascinating exhibition featuring impressive ice sculptures, a real ice bar, and even a frozen slide. The internal temperature is -5°C, but we'll be properly equipped with our thermal clothing to make the most of this immersive experience in the world of ice.

Then, we'll head to the port, where we'll board the legendary icebreaker. Our cruise through the Gulf of Bothnia will be a true adventure, breaking through the layers of ice as we make our way to a special disembarkation point. After breakfast, we'll embark on a bus journey to northern Lapland, a prime destination for Northern Lights viewing. Along the way, we'll be treated to the majestic Arctic landscape—a setting of unique beauty, where vast expanses of pristine snow and frozen forests create an almost magical atmosphere.

Upon arrival in Saariselkä or Pyhä, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at the resort restaurant, preparing for the adventure that awaits. Did you know that the ideal temperature for huskies is -20°C? These incredible dogs, bred by the nomadic peoples of Siberia, are known for their endurance, strength, and team spirit—essential qualities for pulling sleds in extreme conditions. With their thick fur and expressive eyes, they are true symbols of the Arctic! The sleds can accommodate two people, allowing both to experience the thrill of leading a team of huskies through breathtaking winter landscapes. The sensation of the icy wind on your face and the dogs' contagious energy make this experience unique and unforgettable!

Back at the resort, we'll check in to our exclusive wooden domes with glass roofs, the "Aurora Cabins." Before dinner, we'll have the opportunity to experience an authentic Nordic experience: for one hour, we'll enjoy a private wellness space, including a traditional sauna, a chilled pool for a revitalizing soak, and a hot jacuzzi, offering a perfect contrast between heat and cold—an essential ritual in Finnish culture.

If weather conditions are favorable, this day will be ideal to witness the mysterious lights dancing across the sky.

An unforgettable experience that will make this trip a memorable chapter in our lives.

After breakfast, we'll begin our return journey to Rovaniemi, but first, we'll make a special stop at a reindeer farm, where we'll immerse ourselves in the culture of the Sami people and learn about these iconic Arctic animals. The Sami, the ancestral guardians of Lapland, have a deep connection with reindeer, which have played an essential role in their way of life for centuries.

At the farm, we'll hear fascinating stories about their traditions, take a reindeer sleigh ride, and enjoy a traditional lunch in a cozy wooden restaurant, surrounded by the unique landscape of the Boreal Forest—the world's largest continuous forest, stretching across vast regions of the Arctic. After this authentic experience, we'll continue our return journey to Rovaniemi, the charming capital of Lapland, known as the "Land of Santa Claus" and the gateway to Arctic adventures. We'll arrive in the late afternoon, and after check-in, we'll have time to rest and enjoy the hotel's amenities.

Tonight, we'll have our last group dinner, a perfect opportunity to celebrate the unforgettable moments we've had on this trip. Amidst good conversation and smiles, we'll toast to the shared experiences and the memories we'll take with us—another chapter to mark our scrapbook.

DAY 6 – TUESDAY, ROVANIEMI

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, we will embark on an excursion to Ranua Park, recognized as the northernmost zoo in the world. Located in the midst of Arctic wilderness, this park offers us the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of fascinating species from the far north, including lynxes, foxes, and more than 50 other wild species that inhabit the Arctic.

Highlights include the majestic polar bear, the largest land carnivore on the planet. Adapted to survive extreme temperatures, it has a thick layer of fat and dense fur that keeps it warm even in the harshest winters. Despite its imposing appearance, the polar bear is agile and an exceptional swimmer. Having the opportunity to observe it in an environment that simulates its natural habitat will undoubtedly be an exciting experience!
