DAY 01 MADRID

Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel. A brief panoramic tour of Madrid, one of the liveliest cities in Europe, will take in important sites such as Plaza España, Gran Vía, the Cibeles Fountain, the Puerta de Alcalá, the famous Las Ventas bullring, and more. Then, continuing through the modern district, you will end your tour in the Madrid of the Habsburgs. Delights such as the Plaza Mayor and Plaza de Oriente will provide a splendid conclusion to this tour of the Spanish capital. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Early morning departure. We will travel northward through the Basque Country. Along the way, we will make a brief panoramic visit to the city of Burgos, an autonomous province belonging to the community of Castile and Leon. Its medieval architecture is intact and includes renowned sites such as the French Gothic Cathedral of Santa María, whose main doors are flanked by ornate bell towers. Our next stop is the French city of Lourdes, located in the Pyrenees Mountains. It is known for the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette and for its beautiful Sanctuary of Our Lady, visited annually by thousands of pilgrims from around the world. We will continue to the ancient city of Toulouse. Overnight stay.

DAY 03 TOULOUSE – CARCASSONNE – MARSEILLE

Breakfast. We depart for Marseille. Along the way, we stop in the modern part of the old city of Carcassonne, and for those who wish, we organize an optional tour of the old town. At the end of the day, we arrive in the famous city of Marseille, one of the most important commercial ports in the Mediterranean, and take a brief panoramic tour. Overnight stay.

  • Situated on a rock above the banks of the Aude River, the ancient fortified city of Carcassonne is a jewel of medieval architecture, well preserved and restored, and is therefore included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The fortress is steeped in stories and legends of the struggle between the followers of the Cathar heresy and the Catholic Church. This struggle was the main reason for the Cathar Crusade in the 13th century and for the founding of the famous Catholic institution of the Inquisition.

Breakfast. We begin the day with an optional city tour of Aix-en-Provence. We then continue towards the Italian border and continue to Milan. Overnight stay.

Each subsequent era has left its mark on the city's architectural appearance, creating a rich artistic heritage. We will see the Duomo di Milano – the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Sforza Castle, one of the most famous opera houses in the world – La Scala, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. After the tour, we continue to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, we take a brief tour to marvel at the city of 118 islands and its more than 400 bridges, whose characteristics make it a unique and exclusive UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square, with its incomparable setting, featuring the Basilica, a jewel of architecture. Free time. Overnight stay.

Gondola Ride through the Canals of Venice. Immerse yourself in Venetian life, enjoy the unique architecture, and listen to the typical sounds of the Venetian streets, which are so different from the sounds of any other street in the world, from a gondola.

Breakfast. Early in the morning, we depart for Rome, the capital of the Republic of Italy. A short panoramic tour of the city ends in front of the border wall of the smallest, but perhaps most powerful country in the world, the Vatican, ruled by the Pope of the Catholic Church. Overnight.

  • We depart to enjoy the splendor of the Eternal City with its mosaic of buildings, plazas, and fountains constructed over the past 2,000 years; make your wish at the foot of the Trevi Fountain; and appreciate the unique and unparalleled architecture of Rome's epic Pantheon. We will make a spectacular stop at the monumental Roman Colosseum where you can take some great photos.*

Optional Excursion to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

This tour will take us through the grandeur of the Vatican Museums (with priority entry) to the Sistine Chapel, offering you, as a bonus, access to St. Peter's Basilica from within the Vatican, avoiding the endless lines. With immense emotion and rigorous silence, we will admire Michelangelo's two masterpieces: the Vault (at the age of 33) and the Last Judgment (at the age of 60). We will continue to St. Peter's Basilica. Only by being inside can one fully understand its grandeur. Michelangelo will welcome us, in this case as a sculptor, with the Pietà. The great master Bernini and his famous Baldachin on the High Altar will not be absent, protected by Michelangelo's masterpiece, now as an architect, the enormous Dome of the Basilica. Optional excursion Shopping Tour Our bus takes us to one of the largest outlets in Rome, Castel Romano, where all the famous international brands are represented and often offer great discounts.

Optional excursion: Naples and Pompeii (Winter Option: January 1 – April 15 / October 15 – December 31)

We will depart for the city of Naples for a panoramic tour. During this visit, we will see the historic center of the city, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The main sites are Piazza del Plebicito, the Royal Palace, the Egg Castle, and others. Afterwards, we will visit the ruins of Pompeii, the ancient city buried after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, with its streets, workshops, and houses preserved as they functioned two thousand years ago. This excursion will take the whole day. At the end, we will return to the hotel in Rome.

Optional excursion: Capri Island with boat ride. (Summer Option April 16 – October 14)

We head to the port of Naples and continue to the island of Capri by boat. On the island of Capri, a favorite vacation spot for celebrities and artists since the Roman Emperors to this day, we will take a boat ride around the beautiful island. If the tide permits, we will be able to admire the majestic grotto and appreciate the unique hues of the incredible Tyrrhenian Sea. We will then head to lunch with one of the best views of the island. After tasting the typical limoncello di Capri, we will stroll through Piazza Umberto Ia, the most famous square on the island. We will continue through the narrow streets where we will continue to appreciate the spectacular views of the island. We will have free time to enjoy the afternoon or, if you wish, dive into the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea. Then, we will return to Naples by boat and transfer to the hotel in Rome.

Breakfast. Departure for Florence. The famous city of Florence is located in central Italy and is the capital of the Tuscany region. A walking tour of this unique city where art will surprise you at every turn. We will walk through St. Mark's Square, passing the Accademia Gallery and arriving at the Straw Market. We will admire the combination of beautiful marbles on the façade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its unmistakable Bell Tower. We will also enjoy the Baptistery and its famous Gates of Paradise. We will look out over the famous Ponte Vecchio and arrive at Piazza della Santa Croce to admire the Franciscan Basilica of the same name. Overnight stay.

Breakfast and departure for the miraculous city of Pisa. This city is always identified by its famous Leaning Tower, accompanied by the beautiful architectural complex consisting of the Cathedral and Baptistery. Located on the banks of the Arno River, Pisa is also known for its splendid medieval architecture, the Piazza dei Miracoli, the monumental Campo Santo, the Piazza del Duomo, and the picturesque bridges spanning the river. After free time, we will continue our journey to reach the French border and then to the city of Nice, capital of the French Riviera with its beautiful Mediterranean nature. We will take a brief panoramic tour of Nice and check into our hotel. For those who wish, we offer an optional tour to the city-state of Monaco. Accommodation.

  • Officially, the Principality of Monaco is a sovereign city-state on the French Riviera. It borders France to the north, east, and west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. We'll see the Opera House and the famous Monte Carlo Casino, where elegance, architecture, and lighting come together to create a unique setting, recognized as one of the most expensive places in the world. Fasten your seatbelts as you'll tour part of the Formula One circuit and see the awards ceremony where renowned racer Checo Pérez won the award.

Breakfast. Departure for Spain, crossing the regions of Provence, the Alps, the French Riviera, and Occitania. We will arrive in Barcelona, ​​the cosmopolitan capital of Catalonia, renowned for its art and architecture. We will take a brief panoramic tour of the city to see the Sagrada Familia Basilica, designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Accommodation.

Optional Barcelona by Night Excursion with Typical Tapas Dinner. We will head to the center of Barcelona for a detailed guided tour through the famous streets of the Gothic Quarter, enchanted by its unique architecture. We will visit Plaza del Rey, which dates back to the time of the Roman foundation of Barcelona.
