After breakfast, visit three of the most unusual Buddhist temples, starting with Wat Traimit. Located at the edge of Chinatown on Yaowarat Road, near Hualampong Railway Station, Wat Traimit houses the world's largest solid gold Buddha, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The tour then continues to Wat Pho, Bangkok's largest temple, home to the enormous reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. It is located behind the Temple of the Buddha. Wat Pho is one of the largest temples in the city and famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha, which measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold. Next, you will visit the Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782, and for 150 years the home of the King of Thailand, the royal court, and the administrative seat of government, the Grand Palace in Bangkok is an ancient building that continues to impress visitors with its beautiful architecture and intricate details. Within the complex is Wat Phra Kaew, or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram), considered the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. It enshrines a highly revered Buddha image meticulously carved from a single block of jade.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Rai.

Welcome by our Spanish-speaking guide. Continue by minibus to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Myanmar (formerly Burma), Laos, and Thailand meet on the Mekong River. Enjoy a 30-minute traditional boat ride, experiencing the daily life of the Laotian people. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit an Opium House before visiting villages of the Akha and Yao ethnic minorities. Visit the village of the famous Long Neck Karen women. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4 CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will transfer to the pier and take a pleasant traditional boat ride on the Kok River, visiting the Karen tribe who live in bamboo huts deep in the jungle. We will continue with a visit to Wat Rong Suea Tean, also known as the Blue Temple, another unusual modern Buddhist temple distinguished by its intense blue color and elaborate statues.

Next, we will visit the famous white temple of Wat Rong Khun. After the visit, we will travel from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road (3 hours). Arrival in Chiang Mai and lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit to the Wat Doi Suthep temple complex, the most famous in Chiang Mai, located on the top of a small hill 15 km northwest of the city. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will visit some local artisan workshops, where we will observe the traditional craft process. Afterward, we will depart for the Mae Sa Valley, visiting an orchid farm.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Later, we will travel to an elephant sanctuary to learn about these animals and participate in various activities, including feeding and bathing them—an unforgettable experience. Dinner at Kantoke. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 CHIANG MAI - HANOI

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your connecting flight to your next destination.

Arrival at Hanoi Airport, where your Spanish-speaking guide will be waiting for you.

Transfer to the city (1 hour). During this time, you can get a first impression of Hanoi. Free time until check-in at the hotel (rooms are usually available from 2:00 PM, although if there is availability, they can often be made available earlier). Overnight in Hanoi.

Recommendations: Enjoy a relaxing massage, take a stroll and have a coffee at Hoan Kiem Lake, or go shopping in the Old Quarter.

DAY 7 HANOI
DAY 7 HANOI

After breakfast, we begin our tour of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is also considered one of the few Asian cities with tree-lined avenues, French colonial architecture, tranquil lakes, and oriental temples.

The tour includes a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in 1070 in honor of Confucius and considered the symbol of Hanoi. We continue to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visiting its exterior from Ba Dinh Square. We will then proceed to the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 on a single stone pillar by Emperor Ly Thai Tong, who reigned from 1028 to 1054. The pagoda is designed in the shape of a lotus flower in honor of Buddha.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we'll take a scenic cycle tour through Hanoi's Old Quarter, also known as the 36 Streets, a name derived from its historical renown for the artisans who lived there and the workshops that once thrived within its streets.

Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Hanoi.

DAY 8 HANOI–HALONG BAY

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Depart by road for Halong Bay, a journey through the rich agricultural lands of the Red River Delta. Its landscape of rice paddies and water buffalo, a prime example of rural and traditional life, will be your first encounter with authentic rural Vietnam. Arrive in Halong and board a traditional wooden boat, a "junk." Lunch on board. After lunch, continue sailing and discovering the numerous islands of the bay, such as Turtle Island, Dog Island, Man's Head Island, etc.

Enjoy free time or some of the optional activities. Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the sundeck. Dinner and overnight on board. Notes: Transfer to Halong Bay takes 3.5 hours (including a 30-minute rest stop).

We continue sailing through the bay, enjoying its unique scenery. At sunrise, for those interested, there is a Tai Chi class on board on the sundeck.

We'll have a delicious brunch to recharge before heading back to shore.

We disembark at Halong Pier, from where we transfer to Hanoi by road to the airport for our departure flight.

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Note: On the way to the airport, depending on the departure flight schedule and weather permitting, we will visit either the Con Son Buddhist Pagoda, built in honor of Nguyen Trai, an important politician revered by the people and considered a national hero, or the rural village of Yen Duc.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by tuk-tuk (a type of motorized rickshaw, a very typical vehicle in Cambodia) to the South Gate, from where you can admire its impressive statues representing the movement of the ocean, the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), the Bayon temple with its 54 towers decorated with 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants, and the royal chambers. Next, visit Ta Prohm temple, one of the most spectacular temples in the area, which has remained relatively unchanged since its discovery and still retains much of its mystery. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer by bus to visit the most famous of all the temples, Angkor Wat – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex of this temple covers 81 hectares, comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. The iconic five towers are featured on the Cambodian flag. They represent the five peaks of Meru, the walls enclosing them are the mountains and the valley surrounding them, and the ocean. This 12th-century work of art is considered by art historians to be the first example of classical Khmer architecture and art. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Siem Reap.

DAY 11 SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP – EXIT

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to a village near Siem Reap, where we board a boat to begin our excursion on Tonle Sap Lake (“Freshwater Lake” in Khmer), the largest lake in Southeast Asia. It is estimated that there are around 200 floating villages in the area, making it central to the lives of Cambodians. We explore the lives of the lake people, visiting the hospital, church, school, and market.

On the way back, we will visit the D’Angkor artisans – an exemplary center that aims to protect and maintain traditional crafts, as well as train young Cambodians. Here you can find the most authentic Cambodian handmade products and see artisans working in various disciplines, such as wood carving, pottery, and copperwork. Lunch at a local restaurant.

At the appointed time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

A supplement of approximately USD 50 per passenger applies for days coinciding with Vietnamese national holidays (April 30, May 1, September 2).

In case of a delay of more than 3 hours on the arrival/departure flight (same day), a supplement of approximately USD 40 will be applied for the guide and car for overtime.

In the event that the arrival/departure flight lands before 7:00 AM or after 9:00 PM, a supplement of USD 50 per person (minimum 2 people) will apply.
