The legendary village of Saariselkä, Finland's northernmost tourist destination, boasts excellent infrastructure and a wide range of services. In Inari and other nearby towns, the rich Sami culture is evident in every detail, providing visitors with an authentic and memorable Lappish experience. The rest of the day is free.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 28 / SAARISELKA
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. We'll begin with a welcome meeting with the Tour Director, who will present the tour details and provide the included thermal clothing, available for your comfort throughout your Arctic experience.
Snowshoe Safari Included
Get ready to venture into the snow-covered forest and have an unforgettable experience! This snowshoe adventure will take you through breathtaking landscapes, combining marked trails with areas of deep, soft snow. With a bit of luck, you might spot tracks of rabbits, foxes, or grouse along the way. During the trek, you'll make short breaks to take photos and enjoy a delicious hot fruit juice while taking in all the magic of the Arctic winter.

The silent, snow-covered forest, the solitary hill on the edge of the Arctic vastness, and the magical Northern Lights dancing above you. Sit in the heated sled and let yourself be carried away by a truly unforgettable experience. Driven by the guide on a snowmobile, the sled glides through the snowy landscape, bathed in moonlight and starlight, to the hilltop, far from any light pollution.
Upon arrival, we prepare our cameras to capture the spectacle of the Arctic sky. In complete comfort around the campfire, we enjoy hot drinks and listen to fascinating stories while we wait for the appearance of the Aurora Borealis. Then, when the first glimmer appears, your only limit will be your imagination: the Northern Lights dance across the sky, the constellations sparkle, and the snow-covered trees create a scene of pure magic and enchantment.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29 / SAARISELKA – ROVANIEMI (280 KM)
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The adventure continues to the fantastic Santa's Igloos.
Sami reindeer farm, sleigh ride & lunch included.
Meet a traditional Sami host, who will share stories about their culture, reindeer, and the importance these animals have in their way of life. In two-person sleighs, you will enjoy a short but enchanting experience (approximately 400 meters) on a reindeer-drawn sleigh, an authentic and peaceful way to glide through the white landscape, crossing frozen lakes and silent forests, where the only sound is the gentle tinkling of the reindeer bells.
During the farm visit, a typical two-course lunch will be served, prepared with local flavors and plenty of tradition.
Overnight stay in a glass igloo
The journey continues south, following scenic roads through the snow-covered forest until reaching the Arctic Circle, where you will check into your exclusive private glass igloo.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 / ROVANIEMI

Visit the home of these incredible sled dogs and enjoy an unforgettable ride! This 5 km husky adventure offers a perfect introduction to the excitement of mushing. The route winds through forested areas, with gentle ups and downs, providing a complete experience.
Later, you'll have the opportunity to meet more charming huskies at the farm and share a special moment with them. While enjoying hot drinks, you'll hear fascinating stories and learn more about the lives of huskies and the exciting world of sled dog racing.
Santa's Village included
The day continues with a visit to the world-famous Santa's Village, located just above the Arctic Circle. An unforgettable and magical moment! Visit Santa's house, where he will personally greet you. Words cannot describe the emotions you'll feel in this fairytale moment! But we assure you it will be etched in your memory forever.
During the visit, you can also send a letter to your loved ones, which will arrive at Christmas accompanied by a greeting from Santa Claus. Return to the hotel and free afternoon.
At the end of the day, around 7:00 pm, we'll prepare for dinner at Santa's Hotel Santa Claus Rovniemi.

FRIDAY - JANUARY 1 / ROVANIEMI – KEMI (ICEBREAKER) – ROVANIEMI
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Today we'll head to the city of Kemi, where a day full of exciting activities awaits us.
Sampo icebreaker, floating on the frozen sea & lunch.
This extraordinary experience includes a guided tour aboard the icebreaker, where you'll have the opportunity to see the engine room and the bridge.
In the middle of the immense ice field of the Gulf of Bothnia, the largest in Europe, you'll experience an unforgettable moment: plunging into the frozen sea and floating on its surface.
You'll be provided with a thermal suit specially designed for this activity, and those who participate will receive an official certificate signed by the ship's authorities as a memento of this unique experience.
Weather permitting, it will also be possible to walk on the frozen sea and admire the majestic icebreaker from there, ideal for capturing spectacular photographs.
Lunch is included on board. Return to Rovaniemi in the late afternoon.
