Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your tour of Lima’s Historic Center. You will start by visiting Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion with over 5 centuries of history and considered the oldest house in the Americas. Then, you will explore the Main Square, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will visit the impressive Lima Cathedral. To conclude, you will visit the Larco Museum, located in an 18th-century viceregal mansion in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre, where you will immerse yourself in more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history through its impressive collection of pre-Hispanic gold and silver artifacts, as well as a selection of erotic art pieces. Breakfast at the hotel. A transfer service will take you from your selected hotel to Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport. Domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival at Cusco’s Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, a transfer and a representative will pick you up and take you to your hotel.


Enjoy a guided tour of the charming and magical city of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. Along with the group, you will visit the Santo Domingo Convent, located on the ancient temple of Coricancha. Next, you will visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption, Cusco’s main temple. Afterwards, you will explore the hills of Cusco, starting with the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, followed by the archaeological complex of Qenqo. Continue with a visit to the military architectural complex of Puca Pucará and the ruins of Tambomachay, also known as the Inca Baths. Finally, you will return to your selected hotel. The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC), included in the itinerary, is a personal and non-transferable document that grants access to 16 major attractions in Cusco and its surroundings, such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay. It also allows entry to various sites in the Sacred Valley Circuit, such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, and Chinchero.

In Moray, you will discover its enigmatic concentric circular terraces, designed with different microclimates. Breakfast at the hotel. A shared transfer service with other passengers will pick you up from your selected hotel in Cusco and take you to the Ollantaytambo station. You will board the train at Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, you will receive assistance.


Aguas Calientes, located on the slopes of Machu Picchu, offers a vibrant handicraft market, a variety of restaurants, and accommodation options. Just 25 minutes by bus, you will find Machu Picchu, an impressive feat of engineering and architecture believed to have served as a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacútec. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Machu Picchu, meaning “Old Mountain,” will captivate you with its historical splendor and natural majesty. After the visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes.


• From the confirmed entry time to Machu Picchu citadel, you will have 30 minutes to reach the entrance of Machu Picchu Mountain and begin your hike.

• Please remember to confirm your reservation as early as possible to proceed with the ticket purchase in advance due to the limited capacity of the citadel. The selection of the circuit and entry time to Machu Picchu will depend on availability at the time of confirmation.


You will enjoy a delicious set-menu lunch at Café Inkaterra with a unique view of the Vilcanota River. This restaurant combines Andean cuisine and architecture with contemporary trends, creating a meal with an original fusion style. Accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a peaceful morning at leisure in Aguas Calientes. If you wish, you have the option to return to Machu Picchu to explore additional attractions of the citadel. We recommend waking up early to witness the sunrise over the mountain, a truly unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, you will begin your return to Cusco. For the return to Ollantaytambo station, you will board the train. Each journey lasts approximately one and a half hours, and schedules are subject to availability. A transfer and a representative will pick you up from the Ollantaytambo train station at the agreed time and transfer you to your selected hotel in Cusco. Accommodation.

  • Breakfasts have assigned schedules according to each hotel’s policies, generally between 06:00 hrs – 10:00 hrs. If a passenger has a transfer or departs before these hours, the breakfast benefit will be lost and cannot be compensated at another hotel. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MACHU PICCHU

ENTRY AND GUIDED TOUR:

  • The first entry to the citadel requires the mandatory accompaniment of a guide. Please note that the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • The visiting routes and schedules for Machu Picchu citadel are subject to availability.
  • To purchase Machu Picchu tickets, it is necessary to provide full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number of the passengers, which must match the valid passport that will be used for travel. Please note that entrance tickets to the citadel are non-refundable once purchased.

LUGGAGE:

  • In case of an overnight stay in the Sacred Valley during shared services, LimaTours will transfer only one piece of hand luggage per passenger to the hotel in the Sacred Valley. For the transfer of additional luggage, the passenger must pay an extra fee. In case of an overnight stay in Cusco, hand luggage will be stored at the hotel.
  • Passengers must carry the same document provided to the agency, as train tickets and Machu Picchu entrance tickets will be issued with that same information.
  • On all train services to Machu Picchu, passengers may carry only hand luggage (backpack, handbag, or briefcase) with a maximum weight of 8 kg / 17.6 lb. The rest of the luggage will be delivered to the selected hotel.
  • Allowed size: 62 linear inches / 157 cm (height + length + width).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TRAVELING WHILE CARING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND CULTURE

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Comfortable and lightweight clothing is recommended for visits to Peru’s coastal areas, while warm clothing is recommended for high-altitude regions. It is not recommended to wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, skirts, or short clothing when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
