COLOMBIAN PACIFIC
It is a region renowned for its biodiversity, its vast rainforest ecosystems, and the cultural traditions of Afrodescendant and indigenous communities. Its identity integrates musical expressions, gastronomy, and
ancestral practices linked to the territory and the sea. The Colombian Pacific is also renowned for humpback whale watching between July and October, a season associated with the migration of this species to the country's coasts.
Day 1. Nuquí - Reception – La Bayka Ecolodge - Cascada del Amor
Reception at Nuquí airport, where the destination entry tax is paid. Short 2-minute walk to the tourist dock to board the shared boat heading to Guachalito (approximately a 45-minute boat ride). Arrival at the ecolodge, check-in, and room assignment. In the afternoon, a walk to Cascada del Amor is carried out along a beach path of approximately 15 minutes. Swimming in the waterfall. At the agreed time, return to the hotel, free time to enjoy the beach.
Includes: Lunch and dinner at the hotel, local guide for the Cascada del Amor walk.

Day 2. Nuquí- Whale Watching - Additional Activities
Breakfast at the ecolodge. At the scheduled time, departure to the open sea by boat to enjoy the humpback whale watching experience. During the 2-hour tour, you will have the opportunity to observe these ocean giants that visit the warm
waters of the Colombian Pacific to give birth and raise their calves. Return to the ecolodge, lunch.
Free afternoon to enjoy the beach or optional activities with an additional cost paid directly at the hotel:
Includes: 1 whale watching excursion, local guide during the whale watching activity. Lunch and dinner at the Ecolodge.
Does not include: Tips, unspecified expenses.
Notes: Bring a raincoat, biodegradable sunscreen, comfortable clothing, and a camera.
Day 3. Nuquí - Free day - Additional hotel activities
Breakfast at the ecolodge. Free day to enjoy the beach or optional activities with an additional cost paid directly at the hotel:
Includes: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Ecolodge.
Does not include: Tips, unspecified expenses.
Day 4. Termales Village - Hike and Hot Springs
Breakfast at the ecolodge. We begin a guided hike to the picturesque village of Termales, taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes each way, bordering the beautiful coast and the Pacific rainforest.
Arrival at the site known as Los pozos termales (hot springs pools), where you can purchase your ticket and enjoy a moment of disconnection by immersing yourself in its relaxing volcanic waters, surrounded by a unique jungle environment.
At the agreed time, we begin the return hike to the ecolodge. Lunch and free afternoon to rest and enjoy the beach. Dinner and lodging.
Includes: Local guide during the Termales activity.
Does not include: Entrance fee to the hot springs pools ($25,000 COP per person), tips, unspecified expenses.
Day 5. Guachalito - Nuquí - Departure Transfer
Breakfast at the ecolodge. Depending on your flight time, return transfer by shared boat to Nuquí.

Rates for children for accommodations and activities vary depending on the child’s age and each provider’s policies. We recommend verifying the terms and conditions at the time of booking.Generally, children’s rates apply to a maximum of two (2) children sharing a room with their parents (2 adults). If one (1) child is traveling with a single (1) adult, the adult must pay the supplement for a double room. These conditions may vary by accommodation, so they must be confirmed on a case-by-case basis.
Recommendations
This experience has a basic physical demand. We recommend bringing a yellow fever vaccination card, lightweight clothing, comfortable footwear, an open mind, and a deep respect for the communities and the territory. Remember that every conscious gesture contributes to caring for the planet.
