DAY 2 MEXICO CITY – SANTA MARÍA TONANTZINTLA – PUEBLA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early departure for the Church of Santa María Tonantzintla. This jewel of indigenous Baroque architecture dazzles with its richly decorated interior—an explosion of colors, figures, and symbols that fuse the Catholic faith with the pre-Hispanic worldview. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary—revered in this region as *Tonantzin* ("Mother of All" in Nahuatl)—the church embodies the people's deep devotion and the union of two cultures through faith. It is a sacred site that remains a place of spiritual connection and artistic admiration.

Continue to Puebla, a city that has been a major religious center since its founding and is home to numerous churches, convents, and chapels housing priceless sacred art. Beyond its architecture and traditions, Puebla is a destination where spirituality and history intertwine, inviting you to experience faith, culture, and beauty. We will visit its majestic Cathedral and stroll through its iconic streets. Buffet lunch (drinks not included). Return to Mexico City.

Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 3 MEXICO CITY – CITY TOUR – SANCTUARIO DE GUADALUPE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to begin the celebrations with Solemn Lauds (8:30 a.m.), a morning prayer dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, during which clergy and the faithful give thanks for a new day under her protection. Afterward, we will attend the *Capítulo Guadalupano* (9:00 a.m.), a traditional ceremony led by the Basilica’s canons, who pay formal homage to the Virgin of Guadalupe through hymns, offerings, and words of devotion. Both moments reflect the deep spirituality and respect with which Mexico honors its patroness, marking the start of a day filled with faith, love, and gratitude. Upon conclusion of the celebration, we will take a city tour. Lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included). Return to the hotel. Around 9:00 p.m., transfer from the hotel to the Basilica of Guadalupe. Each year, the festivities begin on the eve of December 12th with the singing of "Las Mañanitas," performed by famous artists in tribute to the Virgin. At the scheduled time, departure from the Basilica and return to the hotel.

Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 MEXICO CITY – SHRINE OF GUADALUPE – XOCHIMILCO

Breakfast at the hotel.

We will return to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to attend the Mass of the Roses, which commemorates the miracle of Guadalupe—the moment the image of the Virgin appeared on Juan Diego’s *tilma* amidst a bed of roses. During this moving ceremony, thousands of the faithful place flowers at the altar as a sign of love and gratitude, accompanied by traditional hymns and the rekindling of Mexico’s deep devotion. It is a unique experience that blends faith, tradition, and the fervor of millions of pilgrims arriving from across the country to honor the Queen of Mexico. (Flowers, candles, and a group banner are included).

Afterwards, we will travel to the southern part of the city to begin our tour of Xochimilco; here, we will board a *trajinera* (a traditional boat) for a ride along the canals. Set-menu lunch (drinks not included).

Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 MEXICO CITY – TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS

Breakfast at the hotel.

Just an hour from Mexico City lies Teotihuacán, "the place where men become gods." We will visit this majestic archaeological site—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—which dazzles with its imposing Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon and the iconic Avenue of the Dead, evoking the grandeur of one of Mesoamerica's most powerful civilizations. Beyond its historical significance, Teotihuacán is considered a place of great energy and spirituality, drawing visitors from around the globe to admire its beauty, sense its mystical power, and connect with Mexico's deepest roots. After the visit, we return to Mexico City. In the evening, we head to Plaza Garibaldi. The restaurant offers a Mexican show featuring a folkloric ballet, *ranchera* singers, a rope-trick demonstration, and a simulated cockfight, all accompanied by traditional mariachi music. A Mexican drink is included. Return to the hotel.

Dinner on your own. Overnight stay.
