DAY 01 KANSAI / ITAMI (ARRIVAL) – OSAKA

Arrival at Osaka/Kansai International Airport (or Itami) on your flight.

After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by a Spanish-speaking assistant.

Transfer to the hotel via shared service accompanied by the assistant.

Arrival at the hotel; the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Check-in at the Osaka hotel begins at 3:00 PM.

If early check-in is desired, it is necessary to book an extra pre-tour night,

though availability cannot be guaranteed.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Osaka (1 night).

DAY 02 OSAKA – NARA – KYOTO

Approx. 08:30–09:00: Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet in the lobby and begin a city tour with a Spanish-speaking guide, visiting

Osaka Castle(*).

After the visit, depart for Nara to see Todai-ji Temple—featuring its enormous

Buddha statue(*)—and Sacred Deer Park.

Lunch at a restaurant.

In the afternoon, depart for Kyoto.

En route, visit the Fushimi Inari Shinto Shrine.

After the visit, transfer to your hotel.

Approx. 18:00: Check-in at the hotel in Kyoto for a 2-night stay.

DAY 03 KYOTO

Approx. 08:00–08:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet in the lobby and begin a tour of the ancient capital, Kyoto, with a Spanish-speaking guide to visit Nijo Castle (*), Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion) (*), and Heian Shinto Shrine (garden admission not included).

Lunch at a restaurant.

The tour concludes at the restaurant after lunch; return to the hotel is on your own.

Afternoon at leisure for personal activities.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Kyoto.

DAY 04 KYOTO - HAKONE

Approx. 07:30–08:00. Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet in the lobby and transfer to Kyoto Station with a Spanish-speaking assistant.

08:33. Depart Kyoto for Odawara on the JR "Hikari" bullet train.

10:38. Arrive in Odawara and begin the Hakone National Park excursion with a Spanish-speaking guide, including a mini-cruise on Lake Ashi (*) and a ride on the ropeway (*).

Lunch at a restaurant.

Approx. 17:00. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Hakone.

*Note: Depending on weather conditions, scheduled visits may be replaced by alternatives such as museums and/or temples. Visibility of Mount Fuji also depends on the weather.

It is very difficult to see Mount Fuji at any time of year—especially in summer—due to frequent cloud cover.

DAY 05 HAKONE - TOKYO

Approx. 08:30–09:00. Breakfast at the hotel.

Meet in the lobby and depart for Tokyo by road.

Arrival in Tokyo and start of the city tour with a Spanish-speaking guide, visiting Meiji Shinto Shrine, Asakusa Kannon Temple (including the Nakamise shopping arcade), and Tokyo Tower (*).

Lunch at a restaurant.

Approx. 18:00. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Accommodation in Tokyo for 2 nights.

DAY 06 TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day for personal activities.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Tokyo.

DAY 07 TOKYO – NARITA / HANEDA (DEPARTURE)

  • The program and itinerary rates have been calculated based on the Japanese Yen to US Dollar exchange rate. Consequently, these rates are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations. Travelers or travel agencies will be notified of any price changes—in writing or via other means—as the traveler is responsible for covering these cost differences.
  • Double beds are not available in the standard category. As double beds are uncommon in Japan, most standard-category hotels do not offer this room type. Therefore, the standard category is not recommended for honeymooners.
  • Passengers may request a double bed in Kyoto and Tokyo for superior and luxury categories at no extra cost; however, this cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on hotel availability.
  • Single-occupancy rooms may be smaller than twin rooms.
  • Triple rooms consist of a twin room with an extra bed. The third bed may be smaller than the two main beds or may be a sofa bed; these can be quite narrow.
  • Triple room availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotels.
  • We do not recommend triple rooms for adults.
  • The rate for children aged 0 to 5 does not include any of the following: a crib, a bed, meals, or train and bus seats. If any of these services are required, the child rate applies, even if the child is under 6 years old.

  • This is a list of hotels most frequently used for this tour. It is provided for reference only; passengers may be accommodated in similar or alternative establishments of the same category.
  • The tour is sold as a package; therefore, it is not possible to stay at different hotels or upgrade room categories beyond those assigned for each departure.

TRAVEL NOTES

  • Travel documents are provided 8 days prior to departure.
  • This itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions, weather, unforeseen circumstances, or availability at the time of booking.
  • No discounts or refunds will be issued if passengers do not utilize any of the services included in the program (e.g., due to an arrival flight delay).
  • Meals do not include beverages.

FOOD ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES

  • Any food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian requirements, etc.) must be reported in as much detail as possible prior to arrival in Japan; however, we cannot guarantee the provision of specific diets or special menus. Please note that Japan is not generally adapted to accommodate these needs. If there is a risk of severe reactions or if the passenger is unwilling to accept the risk of cross-contamination prevalent in the country, we cannot provide meals. In such cases, a refund or discount of JPY 20,000 will be issued. For flights departing from Tokyo (NRT/HND) before 11:30 AM, there may not be time for breakfast. Neither a boxed breakfast nor a refund can be provided.

TRANSFERS (ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE):

  • Arrival transfer (Kansai/Itami Airport – tour hotel in Osaka): Scheduled service with a Spanish-speaking assistant. In some cases, the transfer is not direct.
  • Departure transfer (Tour hotel in Tokyo – Narita/Haneda Airport): Scheduled service with a Spanish-speaking assistant. In some cases, the transfer is not direct.
  • Any errors in flight information or requests to change the transfer time/date will incur a surcharge (JPY 15,000 net per booking). Even then, the change cannot be guaranteed due to time constraints or availability. Furthermore, if passengers arrive on a flight other than the one reported without prior notification of the new flight, the transfer is automatically cancelled.
  • For additional nights (pre-tour in Osaka and/or post-tour in Tokyo), the transfer is included provided the accommodation is the same tour hotel.
  • No surcharge applies for arrival or departure transfers to hotels other than the tour hotel, provided they are located within the city of Osaka or Tokyo. Transfers between the tour hotel and a different hotel are not included but can be arranged at an additional cost upon request.

  • For flights arriving at KIX between 22:00 and 06:30, a surcharge of JPY 15,000 NET per booking applies to the arrival transfer.

  • For departures between 01:00 and 10:30 from NRT, and between 01:00 and 09:30 from HND, a surcharge of JPY 15,000 NET per booking applies to the departure transfer.

TRAIN: Reserved seats on the JR bullet train from Kyoto to Odawara are in standard class. First-class seats are not available for this program.

SIGHTSEEING: For groups of 10 or more, the tour operates using a taxi, private car, minibus, or coach with a Spanish-speaking guide as per the itinerary, including admission to monuments marked with an asterisk (*). *For groups of fewer than 10 people, public transport is used.

GUIDE/ASSISTANT: A local Spanish-speaking guide/assistant is provided for transfers and sightseeing, except on free days. In certain instances, the bullet train journey from Kyoto to Odawara (Day 4) may not be accompanied by the guide. In some cases, the guide/assistant may not be present at the dinner in Hakone.

LUGGAGE: One standard-sized suitcase (up to 23 kg) per person is included. A surcharge applies per person/shipment for any luggage beyond the first suitcase (payable directly in Japan). - Clients will spend one night in Hakone without their main luggage; please pack a carry-on bag (up to 10 kg) for this night. Main luggage will be transported directly from Kyoto to Tokyo.

For travelers with a layover in Japan: please allow at least 3 hours between international and domestic flights if using the same airport to minimize the risk of missing the connecting flight. If using different airports, please allow at least 5 hours between flights. In all cases, passengers must clear immigration, collect their luggage, clear customs, and re-check in for the domestic flight (please verify this with your travel agency and/or the airline). We also recommend providing a contact number for the clients in case of any issues.

If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes tour operations and/or causes disturbance to the rest of the group, they will be required to leave the tour without any discount or refund for the services they are unable to use.

NOT INCLUDED: personal expenses, passport or visa application fees.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

Suggested visits or tours listed in the itinerary are offered by our local operator and can be purchased either in advance or on-site; however, if a passenger decides to participate in these activities, they should not book them with a different operator, as the tour schedule is subject to change. The guide has full authority to alter the order of scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, while still honoring the contracted services.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Initial deposit of $500.00 per passenger or the full cost of the airfare
  • 120 days prior to trip departure: 50% payment of the contracted program cost
  • 90 days prior to trip departure: 80% payment of the contracted program cost
  • 60 days prior to trip departure: 100% payment of the contracted program cost
