DAY 01 FUKUOKA (ARRIVAL)

Arrival at Fukuoka Airport.

Meet and greet by a Spanish- or English-speaking assistant and transfer to the hotel by private vehicle.

Check-in and free time for personal activities.

Accommodation at Hotel Monterey Fukuoka or similar for 2 nights.

DAY 02 FUKUOKA - DAZAIFU - NANZOIN - FUKUOKA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Approx. 9:00 AM: Meet the Spanish-speaking guide in the lobby and transfer by private vehicle to the outskirts of Fukuoka to visit:

  • Nanzoin Temple and its Great Reclining Buddha statue (*) ***
  • Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

Lunch at a local restaurant

After lunch, transfer back to the hotel

Approx. 3:00 PM: Arrival at the hotel and free time for personal activities.

DAY 03 FUKUOKA - NAGASAKI

Breakfast at the hotel.

Approx. 8:00 AM: Meet in the lobby and transfer to Saga.

Arrival and start of the visit to Yutoku Inari Shrine.

After the visit, transfer to Nagasaki.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, start of a private vehicle tour to visit:

  • Peace Park and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum (*)
  • Glover Garden (*)
  • Oura Church (*)

Approx. 6:00 PM: Arrival at the hotel in Nagasaki.

Overnight stay at Hotel New Nagasaki or similar (1 night).

DAY 04 NAGASAKI - KUMAMOTO - MT ASO

Approx. 8:00 AM: Meet at the hotel and depart for Shimabara by private vehicle

Arrival at Shimabara Port to board the ferry to Kumamoto

Transfer to Mount Aso to visit the Daikanbo Observation Point, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of Mount Aso

DAY 05 MT ASO - TAKACHIHO - TSUETATE ONSEN

Approx. 8:30 AM: Meet the Spanish-speaking guide in the lobby and depart by private vehicle to visit Mount Aso’s Nakadake Crater*** and Kusasenrigahama Grassland

After the visit, transfer to Takachiho

Arrival in Takachiho and start of the tour: Takachiho Gorge

In the afternoon, continue the tour: Amano Iwato Shrine and Amano Yasukawara Cave

*** Note: Access to the crater may be restricted due to volcanic activity and gas emissions. Visiting is not recommended for individuals with respiratory problems, asthma, or heart conditions; in such cases, they will remain in a designated rest area during the visit.

DAY 06 TSUETATE ONSEN - BEPPU

  • The "Jigoku" (Hell) geysers (Umi Jigoku and Chinoike Jigoku)

  • The program and itinerary rates have been calculated based on the Japanese Yen to US Dollar exchange rate. Consequently, prices may fluctuate at any time due to currency exchange rate movements. Travelers or travel agencies will be notified of any price changes in writing or via other means, as the traveler is responsible for covering any resulting cost differences.
  • Twin room (two beds) at the listed hotels or hotels of a similar category. Hotel selections are provisional at this stage and subject to change. *The tour is sold as a package; therefore, it is not possible to stay in hotels other than those assigned for each departure.*
  • Double beds are not available at the hotels on this tour.
  • Single occupancy accommodation may be in a "single room," which is smaller than a twin room.
  • Triple rooms consist of a twin room with an extra bed. The third bed may be smaller than the two main beds or may be a sofa bed.
  • There are no discounts for triple occupancy or children.
  • Triple room availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotels.

*The tour is sold as a package; therefore, it is not possible to stay in different hotels or switch to a different room category than those assigned for each departure.*

TRIP NOTES

  • Travel documents are issued 8 days prior to departure.
  • This itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions, weather, unforeseen circumstances, or availability at the time of booking.
  • No discounts or refunds will be provided if passengers do not use any part of the services included in the program (e.g., due to a delayed arrival flight).
  • Guests may enjoy "ONSEN" (hot spring baths) at Mt. Aso, Tsuetate Onsen, and Beppu. Groups traveling together are limited to a maximum of 4 rooms or 8 passengers and must travel without a tour leader. Please note that some accommodations may restrict access to the "onsen" for guests with tattoos due to cultural norms; please inquire, as policies vary by property.
  • PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY: Many locations, hotels, and transport options in Japan are not wheelchair-accessible; therefore, it is essential to consult us and provide notification before booking. Any additional costs for assistance required during the tour will be the client's responsibility.
  • MEALS: NOT INCLUDED – Drinks with meals.

FOOD ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES: Dietary requirements (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian meals, etc.) must be communicated in as much detail as possible prior to arrival in Japan; however, we cannot guarantee specific diets or special menus. Please note that Japan is not generally set up to accommodate these needs. If there is a risk of severe reactions or if the client does not accept the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot provide meals; in such cases, a refund or discount of JPY 30,000 will be issued.

For flights departing from Tokyo (NRT/HND) before 11:30 AM, there may not be time for breakfast. Neither a boxed breakfast nor a refund can be provided.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TRANSFERS: Arrival transfer (Fukuoka Airport – tour hotel in Fukuoka): Shared service with a Spanish- or English-speaking assistant.

  • Departure transfer (Tour hotel in Tokyo – Narita / Haneda Airport): Shared service with a Spanish-speaking assistant. In some cases, the transfer is not direct.
  • Any errors in flight information or requests to modify the transfer time/date will incur a surcharge of JPY 15,000 NET per booking. Even then, the change cannot be guaranteed due to timing or availability constraints. Furthermore, if passengers arrive on a flight other than the one reported without notifying the new flight details, the transfer is automatically cancelled.
  • For additional nights (pre-tour in Fukuoka and/or post-tour in Tokyo), the transfer is included provided it is to the same tour hotel.
  • A surcharge (JPY 15,000 NET per booking) applies for arrival and departure transfers to hotels other than the tour hotels.
  • For flights arriving at Fukuoka Airport between 22:00 and 06:30, an arrival transfer surcharge of JPY 15,000 NET per booking applies.
  • For flights departing from Tokyo between 01:00 and 10:30 (NRT) or between 01:00 and 09:30 (HND), a surcharge of JPY 15,000 NET per booking applies.

SIGHTSEEING: For groups of 6 or more people, the tour operates using a taxi, private car, minibus, or coach with a Spanish-speaking guide, following the itinerary and including admission fees for monuments marked with an asterisk (*) in the itinerary. *For groups of fewer than 5 people, public transport will be used.

GUIDE/ASSISTANT: Spanish-speaking local guide/assistant throughout the tour.

LUGGAGE: One standard-sized suitcase (up to 20 kg) per person is included.

Surcharge for a second suitcase per person/shipment (payable directly by the client in Japan). Maximum of 2 suitcases per passenger.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS: The tour includes the domestic flight between Fukuoka and Tokyo.

Airline regulations allow for a maximum of 20 kg of checked luggage per person. Any excess weight charges must be paid by the client.

(The flight ticket must be issued 60 days in advance; cancellations made on or after this date incur a fee of 30,000 JPY per person). ** The flight cannot be selected or changed ** **No guide accompanies the flight; passengers board independently**

OTHER:

(1) Applicable taxes, highway tolls, and parking fees are included. Tips for guides and drivers are voluntary.

(2) Should a passenger's behavior jeopardize tour operations and/or cause disturbance to the rest of the group, that passenger will be required to leave the tour without any discount or refund for unused services.

(3) NOT INCLUDED: personal expenses.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

Suggested visits or tours listed in the itinerary are offered by our local operator and can be purchased either in advance or on-site. However, if a passenger chooses to participate in these activities, they should not book them through a different operator, as tour schedules may vary. The guide has full authority to alter the order of scheduled visits due to logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, provided the contracted services are still honored.

  • Initial deposit $500.00 per passenger or the full cost of the airfare
  • 120 days prior to trip departure 50% payment of the contracted program cost
  • 90 days prior to trip departure 80% payment of the contracted program cost
  • 60 days prior to trip departure 100% payment of the contracted program cost
