DAY 1 (SUNDAY) JOHANNESBURG

Arrival at Johannesburg’s O. R. Tambo International Airport and transfer to the hotel with a Spanish-speaking driver-guide. The rest of the day is at leisure; meals are not included.

DAY 2 (MONDAY) JOHANNESBURG

Breakfast at the hotel and a free day to explore the city on your own. Meals at your own expense.

Suggested Optional Activity: Scheduled Half-Day Tour of Johannesburg and Soweto (starting around 13:00).

On this exciting tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the impressive historic buildings of Johannesburg's financial district, visit Nelson Mandela's House in Soweto, walk along the iconic Vilakazi Street, and admire Soccer City—the "Calabash"—the stadium that hosted the 2010 World Cup.

Note: Entrance fees to monuments or museums are NOT included.

DAY 3 (TUESDAY) JOHANNESBURG – MPUMALANGA – KRUGER PARK AREA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure (around 07:00) for Kruger Park, traveling through Mpumalanga province and visiting sites of stunning beauty such as Bourke's Luck Potholes in Blyde River Canyon (visits subject to time and weather conditions). Lunch at leisure. Afternoon arrival at the hotel.

Accommodation at the selected hotel on a half-board basis (dinner, bed, and breakfast).

DAY 4 (WEDNESDAY) KRUGER PARK AREA

Full-day photo safari, returning to the hotel in the afternoon. Lunch is at your own expense.

NOTE: The hotel will provide breakfast boxes, as the estimated departure time for the photo safari is 05:30 AM. Lunch is at your own expense; a stop will be made at one of the camps within the park, where passengers have the option to eat at a restaurant or a cafeteria. Leaving the designated roads is not permitted within Kruger National Park. The safari lasts approximately 8 hours.

INCLUDED: Photo safari in an open 4x4 vehicle along Kruger Park roads with a Spanish-speaking guide. The guide will rotate between vehicles if there are more than 9 people.

DAY 5 (THURSDAY) KRUGER PARK AREA – PRETORIA – JOHANNESBURG – CAPE TOWN

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Johannesburg’s O. R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA).

Optional: Fly from MQP/CPT (recommended direct flights to Cape Town departing daily at 13:15 and arriving at 15:55, or flights via Johannesburg departing at 10:15 and arriving at 15:10) instead of driving back to JNB to fly to CPT. A supplement for transfers in Mpumalanga will apply.

NOTE: THE FLIGHT TIMES MENTIONED ABOVE ARE SUGGESTIONS ONLY AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

Panoramic tour of Pretoria, including Church Square and the Union Buildings (the tour does not include entry to the monuments; they will be viewed from the outside). Lunch is NOT included. Transfer to Johannesburg’s O. R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) to board a scheduled flight to Cape Town (flight NOT included). Departure from O. R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) must be scheduled for 19:00 or later. If a flight departing from Lanseria Airport is booked, an additional transfer supplement will apply.

Arrival in Cape Town, meet and greet, and transfer to the hotel with a Spanish-speaking driver-guide. Meals are NOT included.

DAY 6 (FRIDAY) CAPE TOWN

You will explore the “Mother City,” the famous “Bo-Kaap” neighborhood and its museums, and visit one of South Africa’s oldest wineries, where you will enjoy a wine tasting. You will savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and return to your hotel in the afternoon.

DAY 7 (SATURDAY) CAPE TOWN

Embark on an exciting full-day tour of the Peninsula. We will take you to the iconic Cape of Good Hope, with stops at the fascinating Seal Island and a charming penguin colony.   • Our program prices are calculated based on the current year's average exchange rate between the South African Rand and the US Dollar; in the event of a significant upward fluctuation, the resulting cost adjustment must be covered immediately to guarantee the services. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR SOUTH AFRICA

  • Proof of full vaccination.
  • Yellow fever vaccine: the vaccine must be administered at least 10 days prior to travel.
  • Travelers over the age of 60 must present a medical certificate for travel.

It is advisable to verify all information with the South African Embassy before traveling, as requirements are subject to change.

  • Travel documents are issued 8 days prior to departure.
  • This itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions, weather, unforeseen circumstances, or availability at the time of booking.
  • Check-in for rooms and tents at hotels, lodges, or camps is guaranteed from 2:00 PM (14:00). Occupancy prior to this time is subject to availability.
  • Very Important. As of September 5, 2012, a new policy regarding baggage weight and dimensions has been implemented in South Africa for all domestic and regional flights (within the African continent).

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

The suggested visits or tours listed in the program will be offered by our local operator and may be purchased either in advance or directly at the destination. However, if passengers choose to participate in these activities, they should not book them through a different operator, as the tour schedules may vary. The guide has full authority to modify the order of scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, while still honoring the contracted services.

  • 120 days prior to trip start: 50% payment of the contracted program cost
  • 90 days prior to trip start: 80% payment of the contracted program cost
